Saving money, for one. Paying off credit card bills. Living within your means. But allowing yourself a little splurge now and then.

These are all simple, yet practical pieces of advice from seasoned credit union members throughout Georgia. Their experiences may be diverse, and they may have taken different paths traveling through life. And they've all faced challenges. But, they are all successful because they've followed simple advice.

Credit unions celebrate 100 years in the U.S. in 2009. To celebrate, we interviewed seniors from around the state to see what they credit for living a successful life. We also talked with the newest generation, interviewing children from the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, to see how they view money and what they think their lives will be like when they are 100 years old. We compiled their responses in the following short video. We hope you enjoy it, and perhaps take away some lessons for your own life and those closest to you.
